Springtime with the Masters
Take a walk through Art History with Bad Dog! Each class at the Bad Dog Arts Studio this
spring will focus on a world famous artist. Our talented teachers will use work from the
Masters to inspire students to push their creative ideas and develop work with a variety of techniques and styles!


Spring Quarter Kids Art Classes

Makings of Matisse
Monday • 4:00 - 6:00pm • Grades K-1 • $176
March 28 - May 16

Henri Matisse was a Master of shape and color. This class will explore his work from early studies of fruit bowls, to contemporary color schemes, and large-scale collages. Kids will get to dabble in all kinds of art materials and will explore 2 and 3 works!

Keeping Klee Company
Tuesday • 4:00 – 6:00pm • Grades 2-3 • $176
March 29 - May 17

Paul Klee has a playful collection of portraits, abstracts, buildings, landscapes, and 3D puppets. This class will gather inspiration from them all! Explore with paints, chalks, clay, and more materials to make beautiful work and play with creating our own puppet characters.

Outings with O'Keeffe
Wednesday • 4:00 – 6:00pm • Grades 4-6 • $176

Georgia O’Keeffe remains one of the most influential female artists in history. This class will explore her desert landscapes, object studies, and unique style. Just as O’Keeffe pushed the boundaries of modern art, students in this class will tap into their creativity to push their artistic techniques and skills

Playing with Picasso
Thursday • 4:00 – 6:00pm • Grades 1-3 • $176
March 31 – May 19

Pablo Picasso is one of the world’s most iconic artists because of his playful cubist style. This class will explore the works of Picasso from his early realistic paintings to his busy abstracts. We will look at color schemes, patterns, portraits and so much more!

Visiting Van Gogh
Friday • 1:00– 5:00pm • Grades 1-5 • $256
April 1 – May 20

Self-portraits, landscapes, still-life's, animals; Vincent Van Gogh created artwork inspired by them all. His iconic style and beautiful color pallet makes him one of the most renowned artists today! We will get to create a wide variety of work based on famous pieces made by Van Gogh and play with a wide variety of materials like chalk and oil pastels, paints, wool, clay, and cardboard.  The possibilities are endless!

Parents Please Read!
Spring Studio Information

• Registration fees include all class materials and snacks
• Children will stay on site and will be well supervised at all times.
• Space is limited to 16 participants.
• Child to Adult ratio is 8:1 as a minimum requirement. 
• After registering, you will receive a confirmation e-mail of safety and registration 
     forms. Completed forms must be turned in one week prior to your first day of class. 

Drop Off and Pick Up

Bad Dog Arts: Bring your child between 3:45 - 4:00pm (Monday thru Thursday) and to Bad Dog Arts South West Entrance of the Artspace
Commons Building at 824 South 400 West, Suite B131, Salt Lake City, Utah. Pick up is the same.

Parents must Sign-In & Sign-Out their child each day.

Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your child's after-school class and/or camp registration up to two weeks prior to the first day. Please e-mail us at info@baddogarts.org. A refund will be issued less a $20 cancellation fee. We are unable to issue refunds after that time. We are also unable to refund for missed days of camp or class.

If you need to transfer your child's registration from one class/camp to another you may do so up to two weeks prior to the start date. A $10 service fee will be charged per child per class/camp at the time of the transfer.


Snacks
Afternoon snacks will be provided for all students. 

Dietary Needs
If your child has strict dietary needs, we will do our best to meet them, however we do 
recommend sending your child with a snack of their own.
