Summer Art Camps 2016 May 31 – August 19 Bad Dog Arts is well known for providing summer camps that promote creativity, teamwork, and self-esteem. Each camp ends with a mini exhibit of the week’s activities. Children create art projects that they are proud to share with family and friends. |

Bad Dog goes wild this summer with new creative journeys. Campers will have the opportunity to explore the outdoors, create awesome puppets, experiment with art and sound, design different habitats, create your own super hero, and of course, make cool art!

Week 10
Puppetopia (Full)
August 1-5 • Grades 2-6 • 9am-4pm • $260
Explore all kinds of exciting ways to create a puppet from finger puppets, to paper mache puppets, shadow puppets and don’t forget sock puppets! Fabric, foam, paper, and clay; there are endless materials and possibilities. Have fun creating unique characters and working with classmates to put on a puppet show!

Play with your Food / Garden to Table (Full) • Glendale Community Learning Center
August 8-12 • Grades 3-6 • 9am-4pm • $260
From yummy banana race cars to cute veggie critters, this week is all about having fun with your food and picking vegetables from the on site community garden. Each morning we will make tasty sculptures, and kid-friendly delicious food, then we'll eat it for lunch! In the afternoons, we will continue the fun by creating food inspired art that will include veggie character drawings, juicy paintings, garden art, and more.

Shake-Rattle-&-Roll (Full)
August 15-19 • Grades 2-5 • 9am-4pm • $260
Make art inspired by music and movement! Explore rhythm, patterns, and repetition as you draw and paint to music and create art that rolls, rattles or moves. We will explore and create visual art that represents music, design an album cover, and turn up the volume by making art that makes sounds.

Kids Studio Summer Camp Information 2016
Camp Times and General Info
• Registration fees include all camp materials and AM and PM snacks
• Half-Day Camps: Run from 9am to 12pm or 1pm to 4pm
• Full-Day Camps: Run from 9am - 4pm
Campers attending full-day camps must bring their own lunch and drink.
• Bad Dog Arts will provide a snack for half-day camps and a morning
snack and afternoon snack for full day camps.
• Children will stay on site and will be well supervised at all times, including lunchtime.
• Space is limited to 16 participants.
• Child to Adult ratio is 8:1 as a minimum requirement.
• After enrolling online, you will receive a confirmation e-mail of camp safety and registration
forms. Completed forms must be turned in one week prior to your first day of camp.
• All artwork will stay on-site at the Bad Dog studio until the last day of camp.
• Each camp will end with a mini-art exhibit component during the last half hour of
the last day of camp. Parents and other family members are invited to attend and
admire the wonderful artwork.
Drop Off and Pick Up
Bring your child to Bad Dog Arts South West Entrance of the Artspace Commons Building
at 824 South 400 West, Suite B131, Salt Lake City, Utah. Pick up is the same.
Parents must Sign-In & Sign-Out their child each day.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your child's after-school class and/or camp registration up to two weeks prior to the first day. Please e-mail us at admin@baddogarts.org. A refund will be issued less a $20 cancellation fee. We are unable to issue refunds after that time. We are also unable to refund for missed days of camp or class.
If you need to transfer your child's registration from one class/camp to another you may do so up to two weeks prior to the start date. A $10 service fee will be charged per child per class/camp at the time of the transfer.
Lunch and Snacks
Campers will enjoy a staff supervised lunch break between 12pm and 1pm. Campers must
bring their own lunch. Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided for all campers.
Dietary Needs
If your child has strict dietary needs, we will do our best to meet them, however we do
recommend sending your child with a snack of their own.
