Monday: Land of the Dinosaurs • $144
Ages 5-6 • 4-5:30pm • March 17 - May 19, 2014 Journey to the time before humans existed and dinosaurs roamed the earth. In this class we will create all things dinosaur and introduce many different media, including a variety of sculpture materials, painting and printmaking. See Invention Thursday! |
Tuesday: The Wild West • $180
Ages 7-8 • 4-6pm • March 18 - May 20, 2014 Saddle up. buckaroos, for an adventurous exploration of art through the old American West. Discover what was happening on the frontier in the 1800s. Learn lost secrets of ghost towns, make old west maps of gold mines, and create "wanted posters." |
Wednesday: Knights and Dragons • $180
Ages 8-10 • 4-6pm • March 19 - May 21, 2014 Here Ye! Here Ye! Calling all knights and fair maidens who dare to travel back to the mysterious time of the Dark Ages. In this class we will go on many artistic adventures, building our own castles, inventing our own dragons, and much, much more. |
Thursday: Invention! • $144
Ages 5-6 • 4-5:30pm • March 20 - May 22, 2014 Throughout history, many artists were also architects, scientists, and inventors. In this class we will blend art and invention imitating methods from some of the greatest artists of all time. Through building,drawing, and designing, we, too, will become artist inventors. |
Friday Extended Day • $300
Ages 7-12 • 1-5pm • March 21 - May 23, 2014 (Includes two sessions) Music or movement is first, followed by art instruction. 1 - Shake it Up • 1:30-2:30pm Have fun with movement or music with an alternating guest artist each week. 2 - The Future • 2:30-5pm If you traveled to the future...just imagine what you'd see. We will move forward in time to an era of flying cars and robots. Through fun art projects we will imagine what our houses will look like, what people will be wearing and what life will be like in the future. |
Saturday: Drawing Manga & Anime • $160
Ages 10-13 • 10am -12pm • March 22 - May 17, 2014 Do you love Manga? Through step-by-step instruction in drawing figures and characters, we will explore the Japanese art of comics. Learn a bit of the history, begin with the basics and you’ll soon be able to create your own manga characters or anime cartoon story line. |

• Registration fees include all class materials and snacks
• Children will stay on site and will be well supervised at all times.
• Space is limited to 16 participants.
• Child to Adult ratio is 8:1 as a minimum requirement.
• After registering, you will receive a confirmation e-mail of safety and registration
forms. Completed forms must be turned in one week prior to your first day of class.
Drop Off and Pick Up
Bring your child between 3:45 - 4:00pm to Bad Dog Arts South West Entrance of the Artspace
Commons Building at 824 South 400 West, Suite B131, Salt Lake City, Utah. Pick up is the same.
Parents must Sign-In & Sign-Out their child each day.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your child's after-school class and/or camp registration up to two weeks prior to the first day. Please e-mail us at info@baddogarts.org. A refund will be issued less a $20 cancellation fee. We are unable to issue refunds after that time. We are also unable to refund for missed days of camp or class.
If you need to transfer your child's registration from one class/camp to another you may do so up to two weeks prior to the start date. A $10 service fee will be charged per child per class/camp at the time of the transfer.
Snacks
Afternoon snacks will be provided for all students.
Dietary Needs
If your child has strict dietary needs, we will do our best to meet them, however we do
recommend sending your child with a snack of their own.
